Excavators

These are very common pieces of equipment in the mining industries. They can be used to dig, churn, and remove large portions of solids from a site. They are basically composed of three elements: a tractor, a bucket, and a boom (movement arm).

For hydraulic and mechanical excavator applications, sensors can be used to monitor components of these assets, such as motors, cylinders, pto (power take off), hydraulic pumps, reducers, generators, and slewing bearings.
