Conveyor Pulleys

Conveyor pulleys, also known as pulleys,  act in the movement of the conveyor belt that transports ores.

They are composed of body, discs, hubs, torque transmission element, shaft, bearings, and coatings. Their function is to pull the belt, providing the movement required for the displacement of materials.

Pulleys can also be found in other applications, such as bucket elevators.

Faults present in pulleys are usually detected at a lower frequency of up to 2.5kHz. Therefore, we recommend using the TcAs sensor for monitoring anomalies in this component, using vibration analysis techniques.
